Memorial Day weekend

I'm going to keep this brief, but feel that it needs to be mentioned! Greg and I flew up to Boston for 2 days over Memorial Day weekend, and obviously the boys did not go with us. As mentioned in a previous post, they were split up while we were gone. My dad and Sherry got Jackson, and Mom and Joe got Lance. We dropped Jackson off first on Saturday morning, then quickly went over to mom's to drop off Lance, and we were on our way. Preparing to go out of town definitely has become a lot higher maintainence and time consuming than life pre-puppies! I was able to breathe a big sigh of relief when we were comfortably sitting on the plane.
I was good and held off checking on in the boys until Sunday (though Greg and I must have talked about them a good 200 times on Saturday). Sherry sent me a text about how Jackson was doing Sunday morning, so I called her back to get the report on his first night with them. They LOOOOOVED him. He even slept on the couch with my little sister, Keating! He was calm and very well-behaved and "co-existed" with the other dogs. I called to get the report on Lance after talking to Sherry. He was good too- and getting along with Uncle Brady just fine. I'm sure that both boys were getting lots of attention and being happily spoiled by their grandparents, and that made me feel good!
We flew back in on Sunday morning and met my dad in New Market to get Jackson. I was so happy to see him- and I swear he looked bigger than when we left! We headed over to my moms to get Lance and reunite the boys. The reunion was great- they ran to each other and wrestled until they wore each other out! Mom and Joe were nice enough to make lunch for all of us (including a cherry pie with cherries picked from the tree in the backyard!) and let us relax for a bit.
What a wonderful, amazing weekend in Boston - although it was just a bit too short! We had a great time visiting with Greg's dad and Sheila, going to the game on Sunday (and the Red Sox won 8-1!!) and walking around the city. The weather could not have been more perfect, either!
I don't have any photos of the boys from the weekend, so I'll just include one from Sunday after the game :)
